Trio sharing a single vibraphone.  Like crystals turning in a kaleidoscope, small changes in the texture create an evolving atmosphere which shifts between different sounds and colors.  This post-minimalist work features compositional techniques similar to those of Steve Reich.  Additive rhythm, beat displacement, and resultant melody are all present in the piece.  This is a great introduction to minimalist performance practice, and a serious crowd pleaser.
