This piece is written to provide the novice percussionist with an accessible introduction to small ensemble performance. The piece provides a variety of unison rhythms, call and response passages, and interchanging solo/ensemble accompaniment grooves. Written in a style similar to Japanese Taiko, this piece is relentlessly energetic from start to finish and will engage players both new and experienced alike.
